How to make candied orange peel

I introduce you an interesting and very delicious receipt that I have found. Hope that you will like it and enjoy it.

Products:
peels of 3-4 oranges
1 cup of sugar
½ cup of water
small crystals of sugar for rolling
chocolate and butter for dipping the ends

Preparation:
The algorithm for preparing candied orange peels is as follows:
Oranges are washed very well and peel. The majority of the white tissue is removed with a sharp knife. If you do not wish to do this, do not worry, when candied it is very tasty. Cut the peel into strips, place in a saucepan and pour in water. When water boils it should be discarded and you add new water. Boil about 20 minutes. Water is drained.
In a saucepan pour sugar and water, place over low heat and when the sugar is melted add peels. Cook about 50 minutes, scabs become transparent.
Scabs are removed with a slotted spoon and place on a baking sheet to dry. For me usually takes a day and a half.
Then while the candied orange peel is slightly damp, but not too, ovate in sugar or ends are dipped in melted chocolate.

I wish you bon appetite!
